Unplug and Unwind

We are always looking for ways to be connected and up to date with the latest social media trends and technology but sometimes we also need to take a break and unplug for awhile!

Did you know that the first Friday in March of each year is National Day of Unplugging?! This holiday consists of a 24 hour period from sundown to sundown, to unplug, unwind, relax and do things other than using technology, electronics and social media.

We will do our best to disconnect we hope you do the same!

Find Your Happy Place

Before you day I DO  take the time to FOCUS ON YOU!

Start your married life happy and heathly with wandering wellness. This 60-minute workshop will take place on Sunday, September 27th, from 3:00-4:00 PM at the beautiful Capitol Hill Yoga studio right in Eastern Market.  The hour will be led by Joanna Andreae, certified holistic health coach and guided meditation instructor and is dedicated to helping brides in the throes of wedding planning take a much needed time-out.

The session will offer brides a chance to catch their breath and practice self-care in the form of easy guided meditation.  It will also include a few practical tips to stay calm and centered on (and before!) the big day.

Don’t worry if you are new to yoga or meditation and/or feel that the idea of quieting the mind sounds like a pipe dream.  This practice is designed for all levels and will leave you feeling rested, relaxed and refreshed. All materials needed for the event (yoga mat, etc,) will be provided.
