Congratulations Lauren and Victor

May 14, 2017. Category: anniversary

This lovely couple’s wedding was full of traditions including some beloved Japanese wedding traditions. As a nod to her heritage, the bride folded and strung (with help from her bridesmaids and several friends) a stunning origami crane installation of 1,000 paper cranes – a Japanese tradition for good luck!

They decided on the historic Anderson House in Washington DC as they liked the idea of a museum or historic building, and the Anderson House fit both of those. When they found out that the original owners had been diplomats and that Mr. Anderson had served as the ambassador to Japan in the early 1900s and brought back many beautiful antiques which decorated the venue, they knew it was perfect. The bride’s father’s family is from Japan and she spent three years living there before she moved to DC, so the connection felt really special to them.

Happy First Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Tineo, we wish you a lifetime of happiness!
