Everyone and their mother has blogged about Antropologie’s new wedding line BHLDN, but I am so excited that I just have to jump on the bandwagon. The looks are eclectic and ethereal and gowns start at only $600. But it doesn’t stop there – they have amazing jewelry, headpieces, shoes, handbags and bridesmaids dresses. I may just have to buy a few things, or a ton, for myself!
I can’t tell you which, but one of our favorite brides just chose these two dresses for her wedding. Yes, you read that right, she is going to wear the more embellished Carolina Herrera for her ceremony and dinner then switch into the sexy Jenny Packham number for the dance party part of the evening. She purchased both at Mark Ingram in New York. And no, you can’t have too much of a good thing!
What to do with your dress once the big day is over? Most brides will want to have their dress cleaned and preserve it for as long as possible. When our bride’s ask us for the right cleaner, we always recommend Parkway Custom Drycleaner in Chevy Chase. Click here for a $50 coupon. Who knows, maybe someday your daughter will want to wear it… as much as you wanted to wear your mom’s dress.
