Catherine and Keith met and fell in love in DC, though they spend a number of years in San Francisco before moving back to Washington, shortly after they got engaged, so it felt only natural to have a classic District wedding.
The Decatur House felt like the perfect venue for them – charming, full of history, and close to so many DC landmarks. When they decided on a December wedding, the bride was thrilled. She loves the holiday season, and was so excited to plan a winter wedding.
They wanted to include holiday touches and create a cozy, festive atmosphere – so they planned a hot cocoa bar, hung mistletoe at the entrance to the carriage house, and had snowfall lighting effects behind the DJ!
The first snowfall of the season fell on the day of their wedding, which was so perfect and unexpected.
The bride’s favorite memory of the day, was when they were surrounded by everyone we loved, and it was a moment of complete peace and happiness for both of them.
Happy First Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Muth. We with you a lifetime of love and laughter!
