Congratulations Hillary and Scott on your first wedding anniversary!

Hillary and Scott both grew up in the DC area and met when they were in elementary school, so getting married in DC was important to both of them.
They wanted to have a classic and traditional wedding, so they chose the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution for their wedding reception and were married at Holy Rosary Church

They went to The Jefferson Memorial for their bridal party photos, which were just beautiful, you really can’t go wrong with taking photos at the monuments the architecture alone is just breathtaking and makes the perfect backdrop

The bride wore a bridal gown by Anne Barge, from her Blue Willow Collection and her bridesmaids wore light grey gowns by Joanna August

With the wall to ceiling glass windows and beautiful architectural details inside the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution the couple chose a color palate of soft creams, warm gold and lush floral arrangements in pinks, white white and greenery.

Cheers to many more years of love and laughter!
